NC State – Plant Sciences Building
DPR Construction is providing CM-at-Risk Services for the NCSU Plant Sciences Building Project. DPR intends to recruit and employ qualified subcontractors via Prequalification and lump sum bid, especially historically underutilized businesses in North Carolina.
The Plant Sciences Building is 184,815 square foot of new construction planned for Centennial Campus targeting LEED Silver certification. The scope of work includes sitework and infrastructure connections and improvements, deep foundations, core and shell with interior spaces to include seminar, office, lab, growth chambers and cold storage rooms, and greenhouse space with supporting electrical and mechanical utilities. The greenhouse includes BL2P and BL3P containment zones with an accompanying BSL-3 headhouse. See the Prequalification Form for additional details on the project.

First tier prequalification forms will be available from DPR Construction on or before the Project Outreach & Information Session date. Completed and signed Prequalification packages are due no later than Friday, December 14th at 2:00 PM. HUB firms are strongly encouraged to participate in the pre-qualification process. Note that all trade contractors must also be prequalified with DPR to be awarded project work.
Note: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BID, HOWEVER, ONLY SUBCONTRACTORS WHO HAVE COMPLETED A PREQUALIFICATION PACKAGE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR BID ON THIS PROJECT.
